Welcome! I’m Princess Evans, MS, CCC-SLP, Owner and Operator of Communication 4 You LLC. For over 18 years I have provided speech therapy services in homes, schools and skilled nursing settings to children and adults in Prince Georgeâ€™s and Montgomery County, Maryland.
My practice is a small, family-friendly one committed to meeting the speech and language needs of children and adults. I believe in a child-centered, and adult-centered approach to speech therapy. Princess received her bachelorâ€™s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Towson University and her masterâ€™s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Howard University. She has over 18 years of experience working as a speech-language pathologist and has a passion for improving communication skills in children and adults. Prior to developing Communication 4 You LLC, Princess worked in Prince Georgeâ€™s County Public Schools and Montgomery County Public Schools with children from ages 3 to 18 years with autism spectrum disorders, apraxia of speech, auditory and language processing disorders, articulation disorders, ADHD, executive dysfunction, learning disabilities, social/pragmatic language difficulties, and sensory processing disorders. She has extensively worked with adult populations in skilled nursing and home- health settings with the following diagnosis: dementia, altered mental status, traumatic brain injury, failure to thrive, and stroke. Princess is trained in: PROMPT, PECS, and Visualizing and Verbalizing (V/V) and Melodic Intonation Therapy (MIT). Princess holds a Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from The American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and Maryland license from the Maryland Board Of Examiners In Speech Language Pathology. She has also served on the Maryland Board of Examiners In Speech Language Pathology. She lives in Laurel, Maryland with her husband, Glen, and her daughter Madison.
